About Briana.
Briana is a ceramicist, freelance writer, Iyengar yogi, book lover, and mom to her baby girl: Posie.
Her career in communications has led her to the biggest companies in the world, as well as the most inspiring independent artists, designers and brands. Each has afforded her the opportunity to use her skill set to transform how these businesses are positioned.
Briana built out the Consumer Communications function at Shopify, where she elevated some of the coolest independent brands across fashion, beauty, home decor, and food and beverage, shaping their entrepreneurial stories through press, experiential events, and editorial.
Prior to Shopify, Briana spent three years on the Comms team at Google, coaching executives, interfacing with top-tier press, and producing consumer events.
And before that, she was Director of Global Comms at the international e-commerce platform Tictail (acquired by Shopify), working with emerging designers and brands from over 175 countries.
